About Me

I am currently an electrical engineer at ANYbotics AG since December 2019.

I have a PhD degree from EPFL, Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems (EDRS). I worked at Biorobotics Laboratory with Auke Ijspeert. My research mainly focused on self-reconfigurable modular robots (SRMR), dynamic locomotion and computer vision applications.  I mainly worked on the Roombots project (SRMR made in BioRob) and offered my help wherever I was needed. I was responsible for a portion of electronics design in Biorob.

I had BSc (2011) and MSc (2014)  degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU). I had control and programming oriented elective courses during BSc and robotics option during the MSc. Additionally, I completed the minor degree in Mechatronics during BSc. That was the most robotics oriented path available in METU. Robotics started as a hobby for me in BSc and gradually became part of my professional life.

I am a motorcycle enthusiast and always actively looking for companions to ride with.

I love rowing as a team. I am a casual rower who enjoys floating on water and gorgeous scenes. It helps to get over a busy work day.

As part of living in Switzerland, I happily fulfill my hiking and skiing duties.
